It's a case of quadruple the joy for Florida mum, Alexzandria?Wolliston.?
Doctors told Wolliston she?had a better chance of winning the lottery than giving birth to two sets of twins in the same year.
But the mum-of-five said she won the jackpot with the births of Mark and Malakhi in March, followed nine months later?by?Kaylen and Kaleb in December, 2019.
"Oh, yes, I feel like I hit the twin lottery," Wolliston told WPTV.?
"How crazy is that!, she laughs in a vlog of her birth on YouTube, "Who do you know who has two sets of twins in the same year? Who does this?"
Two months after the first set of twins arrived,?Wolliston?said she learned about the second set.?
They babies were born on December?27?when Wolliston was 34 weeks, after she presented with?high blood pressure and high amounts of?protein in her urine.
Kaleb?was dismissed from hospital on Monday and?Wolliston?is?hoping to bring?Kaylen?home soon.
The mum-of-five?said she only recently discovered that twins ran in the family.
Apparently,?both of her grandmothers lost twin boys at birth, which makes her believe her four babies are a blessing from above.
"I always say that I feel like my grandmothers gave me their kids because two sets of twins and their twins passed away," she said. "I feel like they just sent them down for me."
The tired mum says her two-year-old daughter helped her prepare for the double dose of twins.
"She was actually worse than them, so she was like having two babies in one,"?Wolliston?said.
According to Good Morning America,?all four children were conceived without in vitro fertilisation.
"I was just thinking today, 'Is this really happening?'" she said in the GMA interview, "I'm just so amazed and grateful and thankful things turned out the way they did."
Wolliston has set up an Instagram account for the boys at @quinn__twinns along with a Go FundMe page.
